Getting answers and actions from the help assistant
Ask the Help Center search a question for a written answer with sources, and on Pro let "Do it for me" carry out the action for you.
Good fit if you have a how-to question and want a direct answer, or you want Vindaris to just do the thing you are asking about.
The Help Center answers in two ways. It gives a direct answer to your question, and on Pro it can carry out the action you are asking about rather than just describing it.
- Open the Help Center and type your question.Ask it the way you would ask a person, for example "how do I schedule a weekly summary?"
- Read the answer box above the results. It is a short answer written for your question and grounded only in these help articles, with links to the ones it drew from. It never accesses your workspace data.
- Open an article for the full walkthrough. The ranked list below the answer holds the step-by-step guides, the same ones you are reading now.
- On Pro, click "Do it for me".Vindaris turns the answer into an action: it takes you to the right page, opens a creation form, drafts a goal, KPI, project or task, builds a saved view, or changes who a strategy, view or snapshot is shared with, then drops you where you can finish. It only ever changes items you own, and it asks you to pick when a name is ambiguous.
The answer box is grounded in the product documentation and nothing else, so it can be cached and shared across every workspace without ever touching a single customer's data. It tells you how Vindaris works, not what is in your account, which is exactly what a how-to question needs.
"Do it for me" is a Pro feature. On any plan, if nothing here answers your question you can send a support ticket from the Help Center, and it reaches the Vindaris support team with your message and context.
When teams reach for this
Ask the Help Center search a question and the assistant gives a direct answer grounded only in the help articles, with its sources. On Pro, 'Do it for me' carries out the action within your permissions, so the answer can become the change.
Who it helps
Vindaris fits any user with a how-to question, from a new member finding their way to an admin configuring the workspace, and Pro teams who want the assistant to carry out the step. It suits scale-ups and mid-market companies, roughly 30 to 500 people, where onboarding many people at once means the same questions come up again and again.
Why it helps
When a team rolls out to dozens of people, the same how-to questions pile onto whoever set it up, and screen-sharing each one does not scale. The help assistant gives a sourced answer in the product, and on Pro carries out the action, so most questions resolve without a human in the loop.
In practice
- Get a sourced answer in the product. Ask a how-to question and the assistant returns a direct answer drawn only from the help articles, with links to the ones it used, so you can check the source. Grounding it in the articles keeps the answer to what the product actually does.ExampleA new member asks how to nest a goal, and the assistant returns the steps with a link to the goals article, so they finish without pinging the admin.
- Let it carry out the step for you. On Pro, 'Do it for me' performs the action you asked about within your permissions, so a question like setting a KPI to weekly becomes the actual change. It acts as you, so it can do only what you can.ExampleAn owner asks the assistant to set a goal's check-in cadence to weekly, and it applies the change on the goal rather than only describing the steps.
- Take load off whoever set it up. Because the assistant answers from the articles and can act on Pro, routine how-to questions resolve in the product instead of landing on the admin. The person who rolled Vindaris out stops being the help desk.ExampleDuring a 50-person rollout, most how-to questions go to the assistant, so the Chief of Staff who deployed it fields only the genuinely new ones.
Vindaris maps your strategy, goals and KPIs down to every project and task, and the Work Graph flags execution risk wherever effort has drifted from the goal, with task-level context down to the Slack thread.
