Onboarding
Getting started with Vindaris
The five-minute tour: how strategy, goals, projects and tasks connect, and where to click first.
Your first week: setting up the workspace
Invite people, set reporting lines, connect your tools and seed the first goals, in the right order.
Getting answers and actions from the help assistant
Ask the Help Center search a question for a written answer with sources, and on Pro let "Do it for me" carry out the action for you.
Strategy
Goals
Creating goals and key results
Write goals people rally around and key results that make progress undeniable.
Tracking a KPI
Create a KPI, set start/current/target, choose how it is measured, and keep it current with check-ins.
Projects
Creating a new project
Spin up a project, point it at the goal it serves, and run the work on its Kanban board.
Working the task board
Switch Projects to Board view, group cards the way you think, drag them between columns, and tune the columns themselves.
Daily rhythm
Monday morning: what's on my plate
Use My Priorities to triage your week the moment you sit down: no scrolling, no guessing.
Prepping for a meeting in five minutes
Pull a clean, current picture of the relevant goals, tasks and risks right before you walk in.
Alignment
Aligning work with AI suggestions
Review the AI's proposed links in the alignment inbox, accept the good ones, and drag the rest onto the canvas.
Letting the work graph point you at what matters
Use the Work Graph panel to see what to do next, understand the weighted signals it ranks by, and tune them as an admin.
Dashboards
Reading the dashboard
Decode KPI cards, goal progress, the heatmap and the AI briefing so the dashboard actually informs decisions.
A dashboard for your mid-week risk check
Build a focused risk dashboard that shows only what's off-track, so problems find you before you go looking for them.
A dashboard to show a manager progress on an initiative
Assemble a shareable progress view for one initiative so updates are a link, not a slide deck.
A dashboard to show a team's work and focus
Build a team view that reveals where effort is actually going, and whether it matches the goals that matter.
Reading the risk heatmap
Pick what to aggregate by and what to measure, read the colored tiles, and click into the detail of any hotspot.
Watching strategy vs. BAU allocation
Read the Strategy-vs-BAU split on the dashboard, see the trend, and break it down by team and org level as an admin.
Reading the timeline
Open the Timeline to place work on a shared time axis, filter by status and planning cycle, and save or snapshot the view.
Saving and sharing views
Save the current filters, columns, sort and zoom as a named view, set a default, deep-link to it, and share it with your organization.
Data Studio
A Data Studio view for an exec review
Compose an executive-grade view that leads with outcomes and risk, ready to project in the room.
A Data Studio view for a team meeting
Build the standing operational view your weekly team meeting runs on: updates, blockers, what's next.

Sync & integrations
Resolving a sync conflict
Open the Sync Center, compare both versions side by side, and keep yours, take theirs, or merge field by field.
Connecting your tools
Connect a tool in one OAuth click, then let it feed tasks, KPI values, document context or conversations into Vindaris.
Capturing tasks from Slack
Connect Slack once, then star a message or use "Save as task" to drop it straight into Vindaris.
Giving a goal document context from Google Drive
Connect Google Drive, bind a folder to a goal, project or strategy, and Vindaris keeps a short summary of each file there as quiet background context.
Pulling conversations in from your tools
As tasks sync, Vindaris pulls the threads and comments around them from your connected tools and offers each one as context you accept or reject on the task.
Connecting an AI assistant over MCP
Turn on AI Tools, connect Claude, ChatGPT or Claude Code to Vindaris over MCP, and let the assistant query and act within the permissions you set.
Meetings
Notifications
Writing and scheduling an AI summary
Click "AI Summary" on any page to generate a narrative scorecard scoped to what you are looking at, turn its suggestions into tasks, then schedule it to arrive on a cadence.
Staying ahead with risk alerts
Subscribe a dashboard, heatmap or saved view to risk alerts and get notified on change, then manage them in Settings.
Managing your notifications
Set global channel defaults, override per notification type across Activity pane, Email and Push, and turn on browser push.
Administration
Fine-grained permissions with groups
Build permission groups, set a matrix of resource × scope × ownership, and add members to grant exactly the access intended.
Classifying BAU vs. strategic work
Classify each task as Strategic, BAU, Unclassified or Ignored, organize BAU into categories, and feed the allocation view.
