Writing and scheduling an AI summary
Click "AI Summary" on any page to generate a narrative scorecard scoped to what you are looking at, turn its suggestions into tasks, then schedule it to arrive on a cadence.
Good fit if you want a written status of your goals and KPIs on a cadence without anyone assembling it.
The AI summary writes the status update you would otherwise spend an hour assembling: a tight narrative over your goals and KPIs, grounded in the real numbers. Generate it on demand when you need it, or schedule it once and it arrives on its own.
- Click "AI Summary" in the toolbar on the page you are reading. It lives in the toolbar on the Dashboard, Data Studio, Goals & KPIs, Projects, My Priorities, Timeline and the Heatmap, and as "AI Alignment" on the Alignment canvas. The summary is scoped to what is in view: the Dashboard generates the org scorecard over every active goal and KPI, while a filtered Data Studio view or a Heatmap scopes to the items shown.
- Read the narrative and its suggested next steps.Entities named in the text are clickable chips that jump to the goal, KPI, project or task. Each suggested next step has an "Add as task" button that turns it into tracked work in one click.
- Click "Schedule Summary" and pick Daily, Weekly or Monthly. For a Data Studio view, save the view first so the schedule knows what to scope to. Scheduling is a Connect and Pro feature.
- Manage it in Settings → Notifications under "Scheduled summaries & alerts".There you can change the cadence, pause it, or delete it, and set which channels (Activity pane, Email, Push) it goes to.
A chart tells you the number; a narrative tells you what it means and what to do, such as "three goals slipped to at-risk this week, all under the Reliability strategy". It is grounded only in your own goals and KPIs, never invented, so it sounds like the update a sharp chief-of-staff would write, on a schedule, for free.
The Free plan includes five AI summaries a month; Connect and Pro make them unlimited and add scheduled delivery. A generated summary is saved, so reopening it from a notification link costs nothing against the limit.
Scheduled summaries are delivered around the "Preferred time" in the timezone you set under Settings → Notifications → Delivery schedule. Set those once and every scheduled item respects them.
When teams reach for this
Clicking "AI Summary" on any page generates a narrative scorecard scoped to what you are looking at, grounded in the goal and KPI data. You can turn its suggestions into tasks and schedule it to land on a cadence, in the timezone you choose.
Who it helps
Vindaris fits the Chief of Staff, manager and team lead who owe a regular status, and the executives who receive it. It suits scale-ups and mid-market companies, roughly 30 to 500 people, that run a weekly or monthly reporting rhythm.
Why it helps
At that size the weekly status is written by hand from scattered sources and still arrives late. Vindaris generates a narrative scorecard from your goal and KPI data and schedules it to arrive on a cadence, so the status produces and sends itself.
In practice
- Generate the status instead of assembling it. Vindaris compiles a narrative scorecard from the goals and KPIs in view, so the status comes from the data rather than an hour of manual drafting. The weekly write-up becomes a click, grounded in the real numbers.ExampleA manager clicks AI Summary on the team dashboard and gets a written status ready to send, instead of spending an hour on it.
- Have it land on a cadence. Scheduling the summary sends it to Slack, Teams or email on the rhythm you set, so the status arrives without anyone remembering to produce it. The report shows up on time whether or not someone had the hour to write it.ExampleA Chief of Staff schedules a Monday 8am summary to the leadership channel, so the week opens with the status already posted.
- Turn its suggestions into tasks. The scorecard flags what needs attention, and you can turn those into tasks in a click, so the status produces follow-up rather than just describing the state. The report becomes the start of the work, not the end of it.ExampleThe summary flags two stalled goals, and the lead converts them into follow-up tasks straight from the scorecard.
Vindaris maps your strategy, goals and KPIs down to every project and task, and the Work Graph flags execution risk wherever effort has drifted from the goal, with task-level context down to the Slack thread.
